I started in purebred dogs when I was young but more actively pursued it about twenty years ago when
I imported my first mastiff from England. I progressed through several other breeds, participating in
showing, field events and rescue, until finally realizing my true interest lay in pointing dogs.
As Jack is Portuguese, he and I started looking at Portuguese gun dogs, learning about the
Portuguese pointer in 2001. We were able to obtain our first, Rena de Torres, on a trip to Portugal in
2003. We welcomed our first litter out of Rena in May 2007.

We live on a small farm in the woods of southeastern Connecticut. In
addition to the perdigueiros, we also have a few other dogs and several
horses.

close to the conformation and working standards as possible while reducing health issues. We are very passionate
