This is our second litter of Portuguese pointers. Like the C litter, their names commemorate towns in
the Ribatejo region of Portugal where Jack's family still lives. As 2008 is the "D" year for naming
Lusitano horses, we felt it appropriate to also choose names for our Portuguese dogs beginning with
this letter.
Damaia has stayed with us from this litter. We are very grateful for the wonderful families that have
Dona Maria and Dourada.
Many thanks to Lilian Zuurendonk of Agua Limpa perdigueiros in Holland for bringing her lovely Ozi
de Torres over to the US to make this breeding possible.
