This is our second litter of Portuguese pointers. Like the C litter, their names commemorate towns in
the Ribatejo region of Portugal where Jack's family still lives. As 2008 is the "D" year for naming
Lusitano horses, we felt it appropriate to also choose names for our Portuguese dogs beginning with
this letter.
We are keeping Damaia from this litter in hopes of furthering our breeding program in a few years.
We are so thrilled with the new homes for Dourada and Dona Maria. We are very grateful to have
such wonderful families for our girls!
Many thanks to Lilian Zuurendonk of Agua Limpa perdigueiros in Holland for bringing her lovely Ozi
de Torres over to the US to make this breeding possible.
